Some of the Best Car Movies in History

People love a good car movie. From the dark green Ford Mustang in Bullitt to the orange Toyota Supra in The Fast and the Furious, the perfect vehicle can dominate an entire movie, even when the characters cannot.  Picture car movies will always be with us and now is your chance to immerse yourself in the automotive cinematic experience. All you need are a TV or workstation, a couple of free weekends, and plenty of popcorn to snack while binge-watching. These are some of the best car movies in history.

The Fast and the Furious

It is a 2002 French action-thriller in English-language film was written by Luc Besson and directed by Corey Yuen and Louis Leterrier (credited as artistic director). Jason Statham, who has since joined the Fast and Furious franchise, plays Frank Martin, a mercenary "transporter" who will deliver anything, anyplace, no questions asked, for the right price. Shu Qi also appears as Lai Kwai. The first film in the Transporter franchise is followed by three sequels, Transporter 2, Transporter 3, a transporter refueled reboot and a television series.

Love the Beast

Eric Bana, like Steve McQueen, is a vehicle and racing enthusiast. He has sought roles that involve cars throughout his career, but in 2009, he just chose to film his documentary on his 25-year relationship with a 1974 Ford XB Falcon Hardtop car he purchased when he was 15 years old. Love the beast movie is highly regarded among automotive fanatics and starring Jay Leno, Jeremy Clarkson, and Dr. Phil.

People adored this movie when it first came out because, and as far as great auto movies go. The visually breathtaking and genuinely thrilling film exhibited a startling understanding of the mechanics of Formula 1 racing, and it brought to life a time and place that we all secretly wish to inhabit. The F1 picture cars of that era are desirable, there is mayhem and murder on the racetrack, and James Hunt, the last of F1's great cocksmen, battles the tenacious Niki Lauda. The actual race vehicles were coerced from their respective owners by Howard, and cinematographer Anthony Dod Mantle channeled Frankenheimer filming them in action.

Drive, a 2011 thriller starring Ryan Gosling, Carey Mulligan, and Bryan Cranston, is about a Hollywood racing driver moonlighting as the getaway driver entangled in a violent criminal underworld. Aside from being eye-catching, it also possesses a piece of terrific music inspired by the 1980s.

Need for Speed

Aaron Paul is highly regarded for his part in the Breaking Bad series, but he also appeared in Need for Speed in a 2014 movie not long after the series finished. The film has a lot in common with The Fast and the Furious, based on popular video game series. Despite this, the movie did well at the box office, even though critics did not like it. If you are searching for an entertaining film with fast vehicles, you won't regret it.
